Did you know...?

According to Illinois State regulations, every inflatable employee is to be criminally background checked, verified against the Sexual Offender Registry, and subject to random drug testing.  Also, every inflatable piece is to have a trained employee from the inflatable company supervising the piece.

The regulations which are enforced by the Illinois Department of Labor, Carnival Ride Division, also require the inflatable company to purchase a liability insurance policy from an "A" rated insurance carrier in the amount of 1 million dollars.  In addition, the Department of Labor conducts a formal inspection and occasional surprise inspections of the registered inflatable companies in Illinois.

While these regulations and precautions add to the cost of the inflatable rental, Action Inflatables is in full compliance and supports these regulations that are intended to assure the safety of our children.  Unfortunately, there are several inflatable companies doing business in Illinois that are not in compliance with these regulations and safeguards.

About our employees…

At Action Inflatables, we take great pride in our employees.  We expend a great deal of effort in recruiting responsible, personable, and clean cut employees to serve you and to supervise your children.  Most of our employees are students. They either attend the University of Illinois, Parkland College, or the High School of St. Thomas More.  Let us tell you (because we want to brag) about a few of our present and past employees…

Wally – has worked for us for several years and will be a senior at Western Illinois University.

Juren – has also worked for us for several years.  Juren is in Pre-law at the University of Illinois.

Nick – will be a senior at the University of Illinois.  He is seeking a degree in Parks and Recreation.  Nick is also a member of the U of I football team.

Steph – is a P.E. teacher at Iroquois West in Onarga, IL.  She is great with the kids!

Bill – has worked for us for several years.  He graduated from the High School of St. Thomas More this year and was named the "Most Outstanding Senior".  Bill will be leaving for a year to work as a missionary overseas before attending college.

Travis – has also worked for us for several years.  He will be attending Southern Illinois University in Carbondale to study to become a commercial pilot.  Travis already has a pilot's license!

Dan – is a student at the University of Illinois and is also an assistant football coach at Urbana High School.

Conner – will start his third year with us.  He attends high school at the High School of St. Thomas More and is an accomplished guitarist and vocalist.

Have you heard about our bull…?

Action Inflatables acquired a mechanical bull in January of this year.  We had been hesitant to obtain a bull as most of the bulls on the market lacked sufficient safety features.  Our bull is especially designed and incorporates all of the safety features we felt our customers deserved.  We carry $1M/$2M liability policy and it is our intention to never have it used.

Our operator is especially trained to operate the bull so that riders from age 3 to 83 will get a safe yet challenging ride.  We operate the bull for family fun and entertainment.  It has proved to be quite a crowd pleaser. Our bull is not for rent to bars or for competitions. 

As you can see in the picture above, the inflatable pit was especially made in Illini (or Mahomet-Seymour Bulldog) orange and blue colors. Because of its dimensions, this bull can be set up in many indoor areas (please visit website for more details).

Our bull rents for $895 for 3 hours which is a great value compared to other bulls that average around $1200.
